Industrial flooring, platforms and tank surrounds

Industrial flooring is a particular specialism, including elevated tank-room floors, washback platforms, walkways and working areas around plant. We fabricate and install the supporting steelwork and flooring to suit the supplied design.

We take particular care with the layout of open-grating floors, aligning the bars across adjoining panels to maintain a consistent pattern across the installation. Openings, panel edges and the fit around surrounding steelwork receive the same attention.

For tank-room projects, we can install the supporting steelwork and grating before the tanks arrive, leaving oversized openings for their installation. Once the tanks are positioned, we return to fit purpose-made aluminium tread-plate surrounds and close the remaining gaps.

We also fit aluminium tread plate over larger areas of open grating for distillery tour routes and visitor areas.

Staircases, access steelwork and pipe bridges

We fabricate and install access staircases, steel fire escapes, platforms, walkways, handrails and pipe bridges, including bridge sections and their supporting steelwork. Our work also includes industrial caged ladders to the standards specified for each project, machine guards and alterations to existing installations.
