Business details, privacy and website storage
This page is a prototype structure, not final consumer sales terms. The demonstration basket is stored only in this browser; no customer accounts, payments, analytics or enquiry storage are enabled.
Prototype privacy
The public enquiry forms and file controls are demonstrations. JavaScript checks them in the browser and prevents submission. They do not save entered enquiry details or send marketing data.
The separate staff administration area stores staff accounts, sign-in sessions, reviewed Helper product imports and an activity history. Staff sign-in uses a session cookie lasting up to eight hours. Uploaded product files are used for a private preview and do not enable customer orders.
Before public launch, the privacy notice must state the confirmed legal entity, purposes, lawful bases, recipients, retention, individual rights and contact route. Drawing uploads and crane-site maps need restricted access and specific retention because they may reveal commercially or security-sensitive site information.
Future online sales
The live shop will require final terms covering product descriptions, total pricing, VAT, payment, collection or quoted delivery, cancellation, returns, refunds and made-to-specification work. It will not use blanket “no refunds” or “sold as seen” wording to remove legal rights.
VAT-inclusive prices will be the most prominent figure for public buyers, with the ex-VAT amount shown directly alongside in smaller but accessible text.
Cookies and tracking
The prototype uses browser local storage to keep your demonstration basket, fastener list and fulfilment choice on this device. It does not run analytics or advertising.
The contact page offers an optional Google Street View. It connects to Google only when you select “Load Google Street View”. Google then receives information such as your IP address and browser details and may use cookies under its privacy policy. You can use the address, telephone and directions details without loading it. The choice is not stored; reloading the page returns to the prompt.
