Lorry-mounted crane & transport hire
Peter Mitchell & Son can move machinery, steelwork and other equipment to and from site, and load, offload or reposition containers up to 20 ft where access allows. Each job is quoted after checking the load, reach, setup space and ground conditions.
Load, reach and access
Crane capacity reduces as reach increases. Vehicle position, stabiliser deployment, ground conditions, overhead obstructions and site access must all be checked before booking.
Container work is normally loading, offloading or repositioning on accessible domestic and business sites, rather than a general container-delivery service.
Before booking, Peter Mitchell & Son will confirm whether the work is transport with crane handling or requires a separately planned lifting operation.
Licence details and an official public verification link will be added when the evidence pack is supplied.
The Operator’s Licence does not prove crane capacity, LOLER status or suitability for a particular lift.
Lorry & crane enquiry
Mark the entrance, access route, possible lorry setup, load and set-down positions. This helps explain the site but does not replace a survey.
Enter the load and setup information, then place at least an entrance and load point on the sketch.
This check never confirms crane capacity or suitability. Peter Mitchell & Son must review access, ground, stabilisers, the complete lift path and current equipment documents.Weight basis, dimensions, worst reach, photographs, entrance and setup information.
Current chart, configuration, access, stabilisers, ground and complete lift path.
A competent person plans the lifting operation before any acceptance or booking.
